Internet Access for students who do not have Internet at Home

This is a copy of Tamsin's email: Hi everyone, This is the link for our families to register for a wireless modem if they don't have internet and meet requirements. More details below. Emailing to Parents if you can't do so through Kamar

You may find that emailing to parents through Kamar (Printing/External Programmes/Send Text/Email) doesn't work with remote access from home. There is a list of parent emails on OC4Staff under the Covid-19 Support Tab, or click here . You can use the pivot table to bring up a list of parent emails attached to each of your classes. Copy the list for your class (or classes) and paste into an email. The best way to do this is to set up an email to yourself.  Then paste the list of parent email addresses into the bcc section of the email.  This way you are not letting all parents see each others' addresses - which would be a breach of privacy. Then type your email and send as usual.

Inspiring Article

Article from NZ Life & Leisure May June 2019 I particularly liked the concept that "... sharing is a powerful thing when your experience is of not having enough".

Welcome to the staff wellbeing blog - snippets, news, useful tips, articles etc - add anything you want, ask anything you want.
